The challenge of designing justice information systems is efficient use of data shared by all of the entities involved . From arrest to conviction, from divorce to emancipation, the justice system needs systems requiring the absolute minimum duplicate data entry while providing the widest possible use of data and digital documents, given reasonable security and political considerations. While integration is the key to efficient working relationships between the various entities comprising the justice system, we also strive always to respect for the different priorities, focus and security issues of each.
